City Constructors' approach to preconstruction services is to serve both the owner and the design team as a source of accurate information from which educated decisions can be made concerning the project's cost, quality level and timing.
We coordinate estimating, value engineering, scheduling and constructability services with the design team's design activities. We do this in the spirit of partnering and maintain an open-book approach to communication and information sharing. We are committed to make decisions with the project's best interests in mind, not on what's easiest for us. We assign strong leadership to the preconstruction team so the client can reap the benefits preconstruction has to offer. By properly planning the project during preconstruction, we can work together to eliminate surprises in the field during the construction phase.

The Design Build approach to construction provides owners with a single source of responsibility for both design and construction services.
City Constructors, Incorporated can oversee all phases of construction from project design through completion. With our knowledgeable staff and expansive expertise, our clients have the option of utilizing a traditional Design/Build method, in which we provide design services through our in-house architectural staff or a collaborative Design/Build method in which we assume sole responsibility, while working as a team with outside architectural firms and consultants.
By facilitating a process of collaboration and continuous open lines of communication, our Design/Build system allows for a process of quality with potential benefits that include faster construction durations, better constructability input, less risk of misunderstandings, and lower overall project costs. Historic Services
City Constructors, Incorporated understands and appreciates the distinctive details and craftsmanship that make up a historical monument or property. Our historical renovation team recognizes the need to preserve period detail in every aspect of the historic renovation process. Many developers, architects, and historical societies have turned to City Constructors to provide expert historical renovation services and consultation.
In 2009 City Constructors, Inc. was given the distinct honor of being named as the preferred contractor for the Los Angeles Office of Historic Resources.

The Roosevelt Hotel was originally opened on May 15, 1927 and in 1929 the hotel hosted the presentation of the 1st Academy Awards inside its Blossom ballroom. City Constructors is proud to be the General Contractor that helped transform this Hollywood landmark. The Hotel is planning another round of renovations and City Constructors is again honored to be the Construction Managers and General Contractor.
